ASUS, the Taiwanese leader in mobile technology, today expanded their Zenfone 3 series with the launch of Zenfone 3S Max in India at  ₹14,999/-

Retaining the essence of ASUS’ Max series, Zenfone 3S Max has an extremely long-lasting 5000 mAh battery, allowing extended use of the smartphone without the need to charge it frequently. On a full charge, the lithium-polymer battery provides up to 34 days of standby time on 4G, 28 hours of talk time on 3G, 18 hours of video playback and 25 hours of Wi-Fi Web browsing. The smartphone also has five selectable power modes to optimize performance and help extend the battery life further – Performance mode, Normal mode, Power saving mode, Super saving mode and Customized mode. Subjected to aggressive usage, the battery of Zenfone 3S Max far exceeds a day – whether it’s gaming, watching videos, or internet streaming/browsing over WiFi and cellular data.

Featuring a 5.2 inch high-definition display, Zenfone 3S Max reflects ASUS’ design philosophy and is a perfect blend of looks and durability. Its premium crafted metal, aluminum-alloy body has a sandblasted matte finish, making it durable and reliable, apart from lending it sophistication. The smartphone also features a 2.5D contoured glass, subtly rounded off at its edges, giving it a luxurious appeal and making it comfortable to hold. The display is surrounded by a slim bezel that gives the phone a high 75% screen to body ratio for maximized viewing area in a slim and compact body. The smartphone also has a built-in Bluelight filter that protects the users’ eyes from strain during prolonged usage. Zenfone 3S Max weighs only 175 grams and is 8.85mm thick at its sides, making it one of the lightest and most compact smartphones that sport a battery of 5000 mAh.

With security becoming a smartphone necessity, Zenfone 3S Max has a fast and extremely responsive front fingerprint sensor which unlocks the phone in less than a second. It registers up to five separate fingerprints, and accurately provides 360 degree recognition. Its convenient positioning below the screen allows the user’s thumb to rest naturally on it and also answer calls straight from the lock screen.

Zenfone 3S Max features an amazing 13MP PixelMaster 3.0 primary camera that supports Phase Detection Autofocus, with an ƒ/2.0 aperture and dual LED real-tone flash for capturing perfect photographs even in low-light conditions. The camera can shoot videos in Full-HD resolution.   • Low-light mode: Increases the light sensitivity by 400%, enabling photography even in darker environments

  • Backlight (Super HDR) mode: Lets users see clearly through daytime shadow, producing well-exposed photos
  • Beautification mode: Assists users in taking the perfect selfies

Powered by a 1.5GHz Octa-core 64-bit processor, high capacity 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory, expandable up to 2TB, Zenfone 3S Max pushes the boundaries of efficient smartphone performance. It is also packed with a slew of features like GPS, AGPS and Compass for accurate navigation, and Gyroscope and Accelerometer for a seamless game and system orientation. Zenfone 3S Max also has WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth v4.0 for seamless connectivity.

For the perfect audio experience, Zenfone 3S Max features an ICEpower enhanced mono 5-magnet loudspeaker which produces high-quality loud sound. Zenfone 3S Max is loaded with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat and ZenUI 3.0 for added personalization. ZenMotion Touch Gesture helps users swiftly launch apps by writing a letter on the Zenfone 3S Max’s blank screen. Multi-window mode, provided by Android 7.0 Nougat, allows users to multitask by working on a split-window or effortlessly switching between apps. GameGenie helps enhance the gaming experience with its search function offering tips and the option to record and live broadcast gameplay via YouTube and Twitch.
