Honor Partners With Go Pro For The Honor 8 Pro

Continuing in the vein of tying up with Global Brands to enrich their smartphone experience, Honor, Huawei’s smartphone e-brand for digital natives, today announced that GoPro’s Quik mobile video editing app will be pre-loaded on their upcoming smartphone, Honor 8 Pro.

GoPro enables the capture of unique, immersive and hands-free perspectives that are otherwise difficult to get with a smartphone or would put the phone and its user at risk.  Users can easily transfer photos and videos from the GoPro camera to the Honor device’s photo gallery for inclusion in video edits made with the Quik app.

The Honor 8 Pro is engineered for stunning multimedia experiences offering the best in terms of hardware and software backed by uncompromising performance, culminating into the best performing Honor smartphone till date. The Honor 8 Pro boasts the 4th Generation of Honors’ Dual Cameras’ allowing users to capture images of superior quality and radiant colors.

The photo gallery of the upcoming Honor 8 Pro uses a new feature called “Highlights”, which automatically selects photos and videos for the user.  With a tap of the button, Quik generates a video synchronized to the beat of the selected music. From there, the user can share the video or further customize it with additional filters, transitions, effects and more.

Huawei/Honor has previously partnered with Amazon Alexa, Leica, Porsche Design and Pantone Color Institute to develop their flagships, and this latest flagship will provide a platform young, active on-the-go adventurers looking to create engaging content from anywhere.
