Honor Is Number 1 Online Smartphone Brand in China, Looks To Win India

Riding on the success of recent launches like Honor 7X, View 10, Honor has notched up the number 1 online brand position in China as per Sino research and is looking to replicate success in India with strong product pipeline and customer centricity

 Honor recently concluded 4 years in China and the young brand has already created waves by clocking some impressive numbers in China and is rapidly growing in other global markets. Between January and November 2017, Honor had shipped a total of 49.7 million handsets in China with sales exceeding US$10.9 billion, according to Sino-Market Research. The company announced it shipped 73 million smartphones worldwide in the first half of 2017 in July, an increase of 20.6% Year-on-Year.Currently, Honor’s overseas business contributes 15% of our total revenue which is growing rapidly.

 Honor has named India as is key focus market and is looking to replicate this success in India which is clearly demonstrated by the company through the overhaul that it has brought o its India strategy. After 2 successful products, Honor 7X and View 10, the company today sent out invites for the launch of a new product, the Honor 9 Lite for 17th January in New Delhi.

 In a short span of less than a month Honor has launched 2 successful smartphone models in India the Honor 7X and View 10 both of which have been strongly lauded by consumers and have superseded all previous sales numbers. The Honor 7X has already clocked 4 million global numbers and is the bestseller on Amazon India and was the Amazon Choice smartphone and this success was followed by Honor View 10 clocking 5 times more sales than its predecessor 8 Pro on its maiden sales day in India.

 Delivering on its promise of rich smartphone experience for Indian consumers, Honor has become very aggressive in bringing updates be it for the latest android versions or its own EMUI and also recently announced EMUI 8.0 to enhance user experience. Additionally,Honor also strengthened its service capabilities by adding 4 more exclusive service centers to cater to after sales service.
