Xiaomi is currently a very prominent and extremely popular mobile maker all over the world. In India, especially in Bengaluru, they have a huge fan following. The company has a great track record for building a good rapport with tech bloggers. The Top management is always accessible and makes it a point to communicate and interact with bloggers. On 30th January 2015, the new flagship device Mi4 was launched in the city and a gathering of tech bloggers was arranged for the same.
The event was held at The Blimey at 1 MG Road Mall. The start was good, Hugo Barra – VP of Xiaomi Global addressed the crowd. Every aspect of the new device was presented and explained in detail. From the impressive Rear Camera to the brilliant front camera. The steel casing and the unique process that makes it the top of the line and best in class! There was a detailed discussion about the MIUI6, the new version of Xiaomi’s Custom ROM which is by far the best Android ROM.
The session ended with a lively Q&A session where bloggers discussed everything from specs to pricing to Flipkart sales to Mi e-store.
