tphone P is powered by a massive 5000 mAh battery that can keep you going on for more than 2 days on a single charge. The power packed tphone P is not only capable of lasting up to a week on standby but also gives the option to charge other devices such smartphones, smartbands, speakers, etc. via OTG support. The combination of a premium full metal body with a dazzling 5.2” HD display makes it a superior device in its category.

The powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Octa Core Chipset processor coupled with 3GB RAM enables the smartphone to offer an unmatched performance giving users a flawless experience on the Android N. The smartphone comes with an inbuilt storage of 32GB (further expandable to 128GB) and with the tronX integration users can additionally get a 1000 GB of free tcloud storage so that they never have to delete anything from the device. To enhance the user experience, the tphone P  comes with a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and 5MP front camera along with low light flash and beautification modes. tphone P comes with a fingerprint sensor which gives users a quick and secure access to their phones and also enables them to take pictures and answer calls with just a tap.

The design is simple and practical. Nothing stands out as a sore point, It is very nice to hold in the hands and fits comfortably.  Single handed use is easy and simple. It is very firm to the grip. The battery is  not heavy in weight at all and packs all the juice in a light chasis. Te fingerprint scanner is nifty and nippy. Right out of the box, the t.phone P looks like a premium device. The company has ensured that the materials used to manufacture the device are premium and sturdy by adding a metal back along with plastic caps on the top and bottom of the device.

The phone runs on nearly stock android with just the TronX software added in to it. The overall feel is smooth and it did  not stutter or lag under load.  The rear side of the phone houses a camera set up along with an LED flash on the top left corner with a fingerprint sensor around the top. You will find the Smartron logo along with the t.phone P branding on the back of the device. Smartron has added the SIM slot on the left side of the device and the volume rocker along with the power button on the right side of the device.

From the first few hours with it it looks like a solid competitor to the Redmi devices and at a price of INR 7999/- this looks a serious contender, more in the detailed review coming soon. For now, it is heavy power in a light chasis.
