OnePlus 6 users start getting the critical Oxygen OS 5.1.6 OTA update

OnePlus has started the roll out of Oxygen OS 5.1.6 update to users worldwide. This update includes very vital and important fixes and feature additions for the OnePlus 6.  Let us take a look at what this update entails for OnePlus 6 users

When the OnePlus 6 was launched, the front camera bokeh mode was promised by the company in a future update. This OTA update comes with the change that enables this. So now you can actually take bokeh pictures with your OnePlus 6 front camera. This is not the only camera  enhancement though.  There are other changes like  –Improved photo clarity, Improved dynamic range, Improved focusing speed and accuracy, Improved photo quality of Portrait Mode. All in all, there are a lot of useful and nifty changes for the camera in there.

Idea users in India will now get VoLTE support on their OnePlus 6. Many were complaining that with the notch taking up space, they were not able to see the battery percentage on the status bar at a single glance and they had to pull down the notification toggle area for this, the company has now added the option to enable the battery percentage on the status bar.

The notification volume has also been fixed. The OnePlus 6 also supports dual 4G standby now with this update. Automatically answering calls via bluetooth is part of the update.
