Motorola Solutions (NYSE: MSI), the only company offering an end-to-end software suite for first responders, continues to advance the mission-critical communications experience to help protect those who protect us.

At the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) 2018, Motorola Solutions demonstrated a software scenario from the beginning of a police event through its closure. Each step will be shown in the company’s CommandCentral software suite that works across emergency call handling, command and control, and records and evidence management.

“Motorola Solutions is changing the experience for law enforcement officials by providing them with software that works together through every step of an incident,” said Andrew Sinclair, general manager and corporate vice president, Software Enterprise, Motorola Solutions. “We’re automating tasks and equipping first responders with critical data and intelligence that enables them to focus their time and effort on protecting the communities they serve.”

With Avigilon’s self-learning video analytics, the movement of people and vehicles of interest is automatically detected and CommandCentral Aware operators are alerted to potentially critical events that may need further investigation, helping them take decisive action.

“Integrating our patented analytics into CommandCentral Aware provides analysts a unique and powerful security and critical communications solution for fast response and reduced investigation times,” said James Henderson, Avigilon’s president and chief operating officer.
