Hidden Easter Eggs in Google Now

We are all very used to Google Now if we Android users. This is a nifty little feature that competes with Apple’s Siri and Microsoft’s Cortana. It brings the power of voice driven control over your smartphone. There are many interesting and really beneficial uses for this feature. I am sure that everyone knows this tool in and out by now. So I thought we will try and share some facts that we don’t know about Google Now yet.

There are actually funny Easter eggs built into Google Now that give out some interesting voice responses. I encourage you to try them out.

Here’s the list. Many of these deliver funny voice responses, Have fun with Google Now!

  • Flip a coin
  • Roll dice (rolls a single six-sided die)
  • What is the loneliest number?
  • Do a barrel roll!
  • Askew / Tilt
  • Go go Gadget [Spotify]
  • When am I?
  • Make me a sandwich
  • Sudo make me a sandwich
  • Who’s on first?
  • Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right
  • Tell me a joke
  • Who are you?
  • Beam me up, Scotty!
  • What is [Jennifer Lawrence’s] Bacon number?

Note that the results very from voice-to-voice and accent to accent. Keep at it! If Google Now doesn’t understand your spoken commands right, you can correct it by saying “No, I said…” and trying the phrase again. Try it and let me know how it went in the comments!
