Capgemini today announced that it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Industrial Software Competency status. This designation recognizes that Capgemini provides an end-to-end toolchain for Product Design, Production Design, and Production/Operations on AWS to help customers run design and manufacturing entities without the need of their own data centers.
Achieving the AWS Industrial Software Competency differentiates Capgemini as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member that provides specialized, demonstrated technical proficiency, and proven customer success with a specific focus on workloads based on Production Design. To receive the designation, APN Partners must possess deep AWS expertise and deliver solutions seamlessly on AWS.
“Capgemini is proud to achieve AWS Industrial Software Competency status,” said Nico Steenkamp, Vice President, Global Amazon Partner Executive at Capgemini. “Our team is dedicated to helping organizations in the discrete manufacturing and process industries achieve their business transformation goals by leveraging the agility of AWS.”
AWS is enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions from startups to global enterprises. To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Competency Program to help customers identify Consulting and Technology APN Partners with deep industry experience and expertise.
Commenting on Capgemini’s AWS capabilities, Don Walker, CIO at Louisiana Pacific said, “Product innovation is a key focus at Louisiana Pacific, and we need a technology environment that’s equally as innovative to support the business as we look for new ways to serve our customers. Capgemini has been a trusted advisor for years, and the migration to AWS is the latest example of how they continue to help us leverage digital technologies to transform our business.”
Capgemini’s Digital Engineering and Manufacturing Services bring together deep domain experience to lead the convergence of the physical and digital worlds through technology, engineering, and manufacturing expertise to boost organizations’ competitiveness.
