Likewise, InFocus Vision 3 also has a 18:9 display which is new in this price point. With Bezel less display and 5.7 inch HD+ and 4000mAh battery the phone looks good. We had the device for few weeks and here is our review.

Coming to the design of the InFocus Vision 3, has a plastic unibody design with metallic finish. On the rear of the phone, there is dual camera on the top left side with rear flash and antenna band is present on the top. The fingerprint sensor is present below the camera flash. The speaker grills are present on the bottom side of the back. On the front it has front camera on the top. The right side of the smartphone has the hybrid SIM slot and the power button just below the SIM slot and on the left side volume rockers are present. On the bottom of the device, there is a micro USB port. There is no bezels on the sides, but there is some space in the top and bottom. The device has curved back which makes it comfortable to hold. The device is also slippery as it has shining finish.

The display of the InFocus Vision 3 has 5.7 inch screen with IPS LCD display with 2.5D curved glass. The device comes with 18:9 aspect ratio with minimal bezels on the sides. But there are bezels present on the top and bottom. The display is quite good. We did not see any problems as of now. The display is comfortable to use and it produces vibrant colors in all the viewing angles. The device also good to use in broad sunlight.

We tried heavy gaming and long video loops with the phone. There weren’t many issues or frame drops. Multitasking was handled considerably well. The display gives a good boost to the whole experience and it is immersive in that aspects. The young ones will find this very useful and interesting. Given the fact that it has only 2 GB RAM, the phone has pleasantly surprised us.

InFocus Vision 3 comes with 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6737H processor. The performance was quite good even when we open and keep 4 to 5 apps at a time. We did not notice any lag in performance. The device comes with 2GB RAM which is extendable upto 16GB via microSD card. We tried playing games with the smartphone. Simple casual games were good to play in this device. But the device struggles a little bit when we play hardcore games. The device also comes with 4000mAh battery which lasts for about 1 and a half days. The battery stands the device in good stead and the key factor is the fact that there is no heating issue with this phone.

InFocus Vision 3 comes with Android 7.0 Nougat with the company’s own Smile UX as a skin. The skin looks quite good. The UI is good and is well designed. There is no app tray and hence we have to keep all the apps in two or 3 pages.

Coming to the camera part, InFocus Vision 3 comes with 13MP plus 5MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. The camera is pretty good. We took photos in broad daylight and in low light conditions. The pictures came out well. The low light images were quite impressive. The portrait mode pictures were also good. The selfie we took with the front camera was also good. There is also an option of taking front and rear camera picture simultaneously by “dualfie” option using the PIP mode.

Here are some sample photos taken.

The smartphone comes with WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, VoLTE, USB OTG connectivity. We tried using JIO SIM and the connectivity was good.

Foxconn has thrown their weight behind InFocus and that is very clearly evident in the overall package. While it is easy to say that everyone is coming out with 18:9 displays and dual cameras, the fact that Foxconn is backing the brand has definitely contributed to this package being available at such an aggressive price.

Verdict

InFocus Vision 3 is the first bezel less smartphone in the range of Rs. 6,999/- The 18:9 screen, the display and battery is impressive. The camera is also good for this price range.
