Infinix Smart 3 Plus is the first smartphone which is priced under 7K with triple camera with dedicated low-light sensor. It also has glossy finish in the back which makes the device look premium.

We had the device for few days and here is our first impression of Infinix Smart 3 Plus.

As per the design goes, Smart 3 Plus comes with a glossy design in the back which we tend to thnink as glass. But the back is made up of plastic. We can see the triple camera in the back with LED flash. The smartphone also comes with rear fingerprint scanner which is easy to access. The mirror finish makes the device look premium. The smartphone comes with waterdrop style notch on the front of the screen. The smartphone has a 6.21” HD+ display and 88% screen to body ratio which gives edge to edge access of the smartphone display. the volume rockers and power button is present on the right side of the smartphne while we can find the dual SIM tray with microSD card slaot in the left side. The speaker is present in the bottom with the micro USB port and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The display also offers a brightness of 500 nits, which is a good rating. The smartphone also come with 2.5D curved glass on top and a stylish glass design at the back. The smartphone comes with a screen resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. We found that the display looks decent and it produced some vivid colours.

Smart 3 Plus comes with 3500mAh battery along with AI Smart power saving. Despite its big battery, the smartphone is just 7.8mm thin and weighs only 148gm.

On the software side, the smartphone comes with Android 9.0 Pie with XOS 5.0 Cheetah layer. There are some good features in the user interface. We can see that there is a side bar which we can swipe and configure most used apps.

As far as the hardware goes, Infinix Smart 3 Plus comprises of a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor clocked 2.0GHz. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot.

Smart 3 Plus is the first smartphone in the budget category to introduce Triple Camera with dedicated low-light sensor.  The 13MP+2MP Triple Rear Camera has Dual LED flash, and depth focus. Additionally, the phone also has an 8MP front selfie-camera with AI-driven beauty mode. We can also find auto scene detection from 8 different modes. The rear camera is also equipped with a customizable Bokeh Mode for users to control the background blur effect. Additionally, both the cameras come with a pre-embedded AR sticker panel with 15 designs to add fun and quirkiness while clicking or sharing pictures with friends. We tried taking some pictures and the output produced were average. But we have to fully use this device and see how the camera performs.

Infinix Smart 3 Plus comes with a charger, a micro USB cable, SIM tray ejector and a back cover in the box. The design of the back cover is innovative and looks very good.

With our brief time with the smartphone, the device looks premium in its look and the triple camera feature in the price of Rs. 6,999/-. However we reserve our verdict till we publish our final review of the Infinix Smart 3 Plus where we have to fully  test the hardware and camera capabilities.
