ASUS comes with the VivoBook S15 Series which has narrow display bezels and looks sleek and compact and has a light body. There are lots of configurations of the VivoBook S15. The model we got for review is S510U. With its slim NanoEdge bezel, brushed-metal finish, the latest Intel Corei7 processor with 16GB RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics this notebook looks good when we first view.

Coming to the design of the VivoBook, S510U comes with a plastic case and has brushed finish which makes it look like that of a metal finish. VivoBook looks good with the narrow NanoEdge bezel which gives us good feel. Vivobook looks sleek and compact and the brushed metallic finish gives it a premium look.
On the right side of the VivoBook, it has a DC charging port, HDMI port, USB port 3.1 and a USB C port and 3.5mm audio jack and on the left side it has 2 USB 2.0 ports and a standard SD card reader.
With 15.6 inch Full HD screen with 1080 IPS panel and a narrow NanoEdge bezel of 7.8mm with tiny matte finishing ASUS VivoBOok S15 looks good as it gives 80% screen-to-body ratio. The display also includes 178° wide-view technology and has vivid and bold colors and contrast, even when viewed at sharp angles. Texts and images looks very good with this display. It features four display modes, which can be accessed with a single click. Normal mode is ideal for daily tasks. Vivid mode optimizes contrast to deliver stunning photos and video; Eye Care mode reduces blue light levels to ease eye strain; and Manual mode allows for personalized color adjustments.
The trackpad is of the size 10.5 x 7.5 cm and the fingerprint reader is located on the top right corner of the trackpad. The location of the fingerprint reader makes it easier to use the pad without the reader interrupting gestures or swipes. It has integrated mouse keys which are not as good as it is uneven.
The keyboard comes with chiclet keys and a full sized keyboard. The keyboard also has full-sized backlit keys. The sturdy, single-piece keyboard construction with 1.4mm key travel gave us comfortable typing experience.
Powered by up to the latest IntelCorei7 processor, with up to 16 GB DDR4 2133MHz RAM and NVIDIAGeForceMX150 graphics*, VivoBook S15 delivers ultra-smooth visuals and great gaming experiences. We tried playing games and our experience with the games were quite good. Vivobook S15 also comes with ultra-fast dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, we got speeds of up to 867Mbps.
ASUS VivoBook S15 comes with dual- storage. We installed the apps on the SSD and this made the apps to load faster and we used the HDD to store large multimedia files and photo albums. This gave us a good experience as there was drastic improvements in reading and writing speeds.
ASUS comes with IceCool Technology which uses smart fan control, thin heat pipes and a good internal layout to create an efficient cooling system that keeps the average palm rest temperature below 35°C which provided us with good computing performance. There are cooling vents hidden behind the keyboard and this gives us the most comfortable experience.
ASUS comes with SonicMaster sound system with the speakers present at the bottom. The amplifiers, large speakers and resonance chambers gave a wonderful audio quality and clarity and deeper bass. It has five simple one-click presets – Music, Movie, Gaming, Recording and Speech. These modes helps us to get a better audio experience. We played music for some time and the quality was good.
ASUS VivoBook S15 comes with Tru2Life Video technology which gave us wonderful video experience. We watched movies in the notebook and it was a good experience. The videos produced sharp outputs which gave us enhanced details of the video. The videos were colorful and vivid.

ASUS comes with a new Battery Health Charging Technology that prolongs battery lifespan, decreases battery expansion rate and helps ensures the battery stays in a good condition. As it has fast charging capability, the battery charges to 60 percent in just 49 minutes.
Priced at Rs. 59,990/-, this laptop performs very smoothly and it also has fast charging capability which makes it a good option. With the hybrid SSD and HDD storage setup, VivoBook loads faster and it doesn’t weigh much. The only hitch is the battery life as this does not come for full day as ASUS claimed.
